Expert strategies and actionable tips from toppers to maximize your score
Start with NCERT Science books (Class 9–12) — they form the foundation for Paper II Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Rajasthan GK carries 200 marks in Paper I — focus on History (dynasties, forts, movements), Geography (rivers, minerals, climate) and Culture.
Read a Hindi newspaper daily (Rajasthan Patrika / Dainik Bhaskar) for Current Affairs and Hindi practice.
There IS negative marking (−⅓ of marks per wrong answer = 0.67 marks) — avoid random guessing. Mark 'E' for questions you're unsure about.
Practice previous year papers and mock tests regularly — the new 5-option format requires extra practice.
For Physics, focus on Optics, Electrostatics and Thermodynamics — these are high-weightage topics.
For Chemistry, master Periodic Table, Chemical Equilibrium and Organic Chemistry nomenclature.
